			BENGT HOKANSON & TREFNY DIX Type: National Major Category: Glass For a decade, Bengt Hokanson and Trefny Dix have collaborated to produce a diverse and vibrant body of work. Hokanson’s background in anthropology materializes in the organic forms of their work, but industrial influences are also present-at times, the pieces resemble three-dimensional graffiti. Utilizing traditional Italian glassblowing methods and incorporating unorthodox materials such as steel wool and fur, the pair have wrought works that reflect their artistic relationship: engaging, invigorating, and thought-provoking.
