			ARTAFACTS Type: National Major Category: Jewelry The artists at Artafacts Designs: Judith Parker and Bridget Vagedes, met at a trade show in 1997. Judith began her career in fashion and traveled to the U.S. hoping to explore transatlantic fashion trends. Before turning to jewelry design, she completed a series of marketing internships with Anna Sui, Ralph Lauren and Paul Smith. For Bridget as well, jewelry making began as an outside interest. Bridget took the leap of faith and started managing Artafacts as a full-time operation in 1995.
